Hot Toys added another collectible to their Iron Man 3 line-up. For the second time around, it's not about the armors, it's just Tony Stark as a Mechanic. This is Hot Toys Iron Man 3 - 1/6th Scale Tony Stark (The Mechanic) Movie Masterpiece. I don't know about you guys but the title "The Mechanic" doesn't really makes sense to me.
Initially, this was announced as "Mandarin Mansion Assault Version", but for some licensor's comment, it was renamed lamely to "The Mechanic". Why not give it some more appealing title, like "One Man Army", or "Against the Extremis", or "Rescue and Revenge", or "With Dora Limited Edition Watch", something that rings a bell whenever fans read it.
What I like about this release are the loads of accessories that comes with it, and the outfit. The sub-machine gun, back-pack, sunglasses, hoodie, some Mark XLII armor parts, etc. The outfit looks really nice, specially the shoes, it looks authentic. But the best thing that attracts me is the inclusion of the limited edition Dora watch! Just kidding :) It really comes with a watch though, but I don't know if its a limited edition 1/6th scale Dora watch.

I missed the Tony Stark Armor Testing Version preorder and I don't know if I can still get it at a good deal upon it's release. So it's apparent that this version is really a must have for me. Tentatively set to be released on 1st or 2nd quarter of 2014 with a price of 224.99 USD at Sideshow. A few dollar cheaper than the Armor Testing Version.
For selected markets, it comes with a home made repulsor special accessory as a limited edition item. Again, this really doesn't make sense for Hot Toys to give priority on some markets. Just make it all a special edition release, for crying out loud!
