Bandai is ending the year with a trio of Dressrosa Figuarts ZEROs. We got a fresh new announcement that Dressrosa versions of Doflamingo, Luffy & Robin's Figuarts ZEROs will be released in October (Luffy & Robin) and December (Doflamingo). That's right! Bandai is really serious in giving us a series of Dressrosa line-up under this product line. See the details below.
Figuarts ZERO - Gladiator Lucy
- Release Date: October 2014
- Price: 3,024 yen
Figuarts ZERO - Nico Robin (Dressrosa Edition)
- Release Date: October 2014
- Price: 3,780 yen
Figuarts ZERO - Donquixote Doflamingo (Dressrosa Edition)
Tamashii Web Exclusive
- Release Date: December 2014
- Price: 3,780 yen
No prototype photos of the figures yet. Wondering how these three would look like? Well, we already saw their new looks in the Dressrosa arc. For Luffy or Gladiator Lucy, as the figure title implies, he will be in his Dressrosa disguise complete with mustache and wearing the gladiator helmet and a cape as seen during his fight on the Corrida Colosseum. Having this in mind, you'll have a good idea how it would look like. It's the pose and facial expression that's actually exciting to think about. I hope he will be in a battle ready stance.

For Nico Robin, she will be sporting a dark blue (or black in the manga) dress. It's very short and with a low-neckline so a large portion of her thighs and cleavage is exposed. She should also be wearing some kind of a large bonnet (headgear), a sunglasses and a backpack if Bandai is generous enough to include it.

You can imagine that the figure will be very simple. The only thing that can make or break it is the face and the overall sculpt of her body's curvature. Needless to say, she's suppose to be sexy in this figure.
For Doflamingo a.k.a. Joker, being a Tamashii Web Exclusive, I'm not sure if this is a recolor of the prevously released Figuarts ZERO, or a completely new sculpt.

As you can see, his outfit doesn't really change much from his appearance on Marineford aside from the color and design of his pants and the tribal-like detailing on his shirt, meaning they can simply recolor the first version. But looking closely, the shirt is actually different, as the newer one is an open vest. Still, they can simply just alter the old figure a little. I hope that's not the case.
Anyway, we got a nice line-up of new Figuarts ZEROs based on the Dressrosa arc. So far we got, Baby 5, Fujitora Issho, Bartolomeo, Rebecca, Violet and soon these three. I believe it's just a matter of time till we see the rest of the Mugiwaras, that's what I'm really excited about.
As I mentioned, no photos of the prototype yet so be sure to check out this blog or my Facebook page from time to time for future updates.
