Just got my first Kotobukiya ArtFX statue and it's none other that the man of steel himself - the ArtFX - 1/6th Scale Superman: For Tomorrow. Got it from a local hobby shop. It's a bit more costly than it's preorder price, but hey, it's Superman!
Though I didn't preorder this, it was always on my want-to-get list as well as the Batman. Then Kotobukiya announced that they will be completing the Trinity with ArtFX - Wonder Woman. I'm in a total excitement when I saw a nicely sculpted uncolored prototype. I told myself to hold on and just wait 'till they revealed the fully completed prototype of Wonder Woman before deciding to get all three.
Last Saturday, Kotobukiya released the official promo photos of ArtFX - Wonder Woman and I was totally impressed and speechless with the outcome. They even got a shot of the Trinity together. Without having second thoughts this tim, I immediately looked for the best price offer for ArtFX - Superman: For Tomorrow and ArtFX - Batman Black Costume. I learned that Batman will get another release on November so I decided that I'll just preorder it and just go for Superman for now.
And here it is on my hands, a huge box of one of my favorite superhero. It was then I realized that even without Batman and Wonder Woman, I should have decided on getting this. It is the iconic look of a very famous and well loved character. And this look shouldn't be forgotten as it represents the years we loved this character. And what's best, it's a Jim Lee version which has the classic look but with a more recent artwork style.
As I mentioned, the box is huge, measuring 300 mm x 355 mm x 360 mm and weighs 2. 160 Kg. Very heavy for a PVC statue.
A glimpse of Superman on the window. Very intimidating.
The figure is well made and no visible defects. I don't want to talk too much about this figure as I'll be reviewing it sometime later. All I can say now is that it is worth the price and you'll be proud to be a Superman fan to be displaying this one on your display shelf.
Thanks for reading. See you soon.
Hello, good morning! Wonderful! how much you paid him?
