Have you secured a copy of the copycat? Kuroko No Basuke Figure Series - Ryōta Kise had gone up for preorder last Wednesday (see the preorder announcement here). Again, I was surprised that most of Japanese based hobby shops has declared sold out during the first hour. Same thing happened when Kagami had opened for preorder. This only proves that there's a lot of fans of the show.
But these shots didn't show us how it is meant to be displayed on the base. From what we saw back on past events, Kise is meant to be looking upwards while his body is bent in the air, trying to shoot under the ring (check out these photos here). So I suppose that most of the close-up shots we are seeing now is taken from above. In that case, if we imagine how it would look like displayed, you won't be able to see much his face as he is looking upwards. I hope there will be some option on the base to change that orientation.
Anyway, I'm planning to get all the Kuroko No Basuke Figure Series, so this is a must for me. The next one is probably going to be Daiki Aomine and will be followed by Shintarō Midorima since they already shown the unpainted prototype. We probably be seeing their fully completed prototypes and hopefully some new ones on the upcoming Megahobby EXPO 2014 Spring, just two weeks from now. Just thinking about it fills my stomach with butterflies.
Kuroko No Basuke Figure Series - Ryōta Kise is slated to be released on September 2014 and it will retail for 8,600 yen (inclusive of tax). I already preordered mine. If you're a huge fan, you should secure your copy too.
