The Man with Eyes of a Woman.. is LIMITED

Here we go again with another POP LIMITED release announcement by MegaHouse. The official promo photos has been made available and we had a first look at the fully colored prototype. And yes, the POP Sailing Again - Cavendish the Hakuba is now being classified as POP LIMITED and will exclusively be offered via Premium Bandai, Megatreashop and others MegaHouse affiliated stores only. We don't have any information if it will have an international release though. Preorders has been announced, and will start on the 9th of May 2014 at 13:00 JST.

I'm not sure why MegaHouse decided to classify him as limited. Is it because it turned out to be a highly anticipated figure, or it is just being hyped so that collectors will be drawn into it being a limited edition? Well, like I said before, I myself ain't interested on this character and this POP as well. Don't get me wrong, the figure itself looks beautiful and the colors looks nice and accurate. It really gives justification to the character's good looks.

Based on these photos, the hat and the coat is removable. It will come with two right arms, one straight to hold the sword and one bent upwards to hold a rose close to his face. Same as what we saw during the Megahobby EXPO 2013 Autumn and Wonder Festival 2014 Winter prototype. The sword can be kept to it's sheath when not being held. There isn't any alternate face expression which makes it less interesting. They could have included an more serious or angry face to go with the sword wielding pose, representing how ready he is to take down Luffy.

POP LIMITED - Cavendish the Hakuba will retail at 9,990 yen and will be released on September 2014. For those who's planning to get him, be ready to dish out more cash being a limited edition POP, or hope that there will be an international release to save some bucks.
