Just after the announcement that POP Cavendish will be a limited edition release. Here they go again with another LIMITED. The POP Sailing Again - Bartolomeo the Cannibal has been classified as POP LIMITED. Well actually, we already saw this coming when MegaHouse launch the POP Special page on the MegaHobby Station. The page shows a silhouette of what turns out to be Cavendish and Bartolomeo under the POP Limited class. See below.
So this isn't really a surprise. What's surprising is that there isn't really any reason for it to be classified as limited, for me at least. Though I don't find this character interesting as well. His role on the manga is starting to get interesting. He might end up having a good character progression and end up likeable. Right now, I'm still on the fence for this POP, but if the promo photos convinced me, it might end up being on my collection.
POP LIMITED - Bartolomeo the Cannibal will be released on September 2014 for 8,650 yen. No exact preorder date announced yet so be sure to follow this blog and my Facebook page for future updates.
Update (2014-05-23): Preorders for POP LIMITED - Bartolomeo the Cannibal will start on the 6th of June 2014, Friday at 13:00 (JST) officially at Premium Bandai, Megatrea Shop, Mekke!, and Toei Animation Online Shop.
