The fourth addition to the Figuarts ZERO Battle version series has been released already. Figuarts ZERO - Nami (Battle ver.) was released Saturday, 4th of August. Here are some early photos courtesy of
http://blog.livedoor.jp/onepiece_figure/. These photos were shots of an actual mass production release, and sad to say, it does not look a nice as the prototype that was used for promotion.
Based on these images, this particular mass reproduced figure was poorly done, especially on the paint job. There's a lot of sloppy painting on the yellow parts of the shirt, mostly on the chest part. The sandals and skirt are also poorly painted. Something is lacking on the lips, I think it should have a bit of lining cause it's almost invisible in these photos. The flesh skin also looks dull and doesn't seem to have shading.
Comparing to the promotional images that were released before, this one has very poor quality. Bandai should do something about their quality control department because this one looks like a reject.
I unfortunately have preordered this figure thinking that the actual mass produced ones will look like that on the promotional images. I hope my copy will not be as bad as this or I will start to lose interest in collecting Figuarts ZERO's.
For those who still have an interest to get one, I suggest that you pick it up yourself from a local shop so that you can examine the figure before you pay for it or you may get a crappy figure like these photos below.
